3.2. Applying the adhesive

If the windscreen is to be replaced, centre it and position adhesive tape (5), as shown above. Cut the tape (at "e"). Remove the windscreen.

Touch up with anti-corrosion product.
Degrease the flange and the windscreen with the product selected from the adhesive kit.
Allow to dry for 10 mn.

3.2. Applying the adhesive

Fit the extruder gun with the mastic mixer assembly.
Take the nozzle supplied in the glueing kit.
Cut out the end of the nozzle to a diameter of 8 mm and a height of 13 mm.
1st case : windscreen (Recovered).
There is no need to apply primer.
The bearing face for affixing seal must be perfectly clean.
Remove any impurities on the shaved seal; Using a blow gun .
2nd case : windscreen (New).
Degrease the glass surround using the product selected from the bonding kit.
Further primer must be applied following the line of the primer applied during manufacture (Allow to dry for 10 mn).

CAUTION : No more than 8 minutes must elapse between applying the mastic and positioning the glass (For the quick setting bonding mastics).

Apply the bead of adhesive to the centre of the trace of primer.
