Disconnect the hose union (2) from the brake caliper (4).

Remove and plug the hose union (2).

Blank the brake caliper (4).

Remove :

• The bolts (5)
• The brake caliper (4)

2. Cleaning

ESSENTIAL : Do not use compressed air to clean the brakes.

2.1. 1st possibility

Clean the brake disc and caliper (4); With a recommended brake cleaning product.

Allow to dry and to drain.

Wipe with a paper towel.

2.2. 2nd possibility

Use an approved dedusting instrument (see tools and equipment catalogue).

Visually check :

• Around the pistons for leak
• That the protective gaiters are in good condition and correctly adjusted
• The disc for wear

Check the operation of the brake caliper (4).
