Position : The double articulated suction pads [KIT1-VENT]. Two people are required to perform the following operation. The indexing pins (2) must be cut. Cut the sealing adhesive (at "b").

N.B. : At the slightest resistance of the wire while cutting, slacken it and assist it in passing the obstacle (Suppor shims, excessive thickness of the bead of adhesive or join between panels).

Remove the quarter window (3); Using the double hinged suction cups [KIT1-VENT].

3. Cleaning

3.1. Preparing the quarter window

Re-use of the quarter window :

• Fit the electric knife [FEIN-400E] with the blade N°146
• Remove the adhesive sealing bead
• Remove any dust using a clean cloth
• Only apply the primer to the zones laid bare

Fitting a new quarter window :

• Degrease the edge of the quarter window; Using the degreaser
• Apply the glass primer provided in the bonding kit part number "A3"

N.B. : Only apply the primer to the zones laid bare.

3.2. Preparation of the aperture

On the remains of the bead of sealing adhesive :

• Fit the electric knife [FEIN-400E] with the blade N°146
