R.R. BONNET LID

Removing

Check that the components connected are not distorted by checking the bodyshell alignment measurements using suitable equipment (e.g. gauges).

Straighten the body as necessary.

Remove the bonnet lid.

Refitting

Position the part on the stand and fit the catch.

1. Position the part on the vehicle provisionally and secure without tightening the bolts.

Check it is properly adjusted.

2. Remove the bonnet lid from its housing by unscrewing the bolts indicated.

Remove the bonnet lid catch.

1. Seal the bonnet lid in the areas shown in the figure (follow the recommended procedure).

Paint the bonnet lid (follow the recommended procedure).

Refit the bonnet lid.
