Whilst driving round a bend (right or left) there is a noise from the area of the gaerbox.

	Steer to the right or the left and check whether the noise increases. Steer on full lock and then release the steering wheel: check whether the intensity of the noise increases or decreases with the steering angle	Continue to Step 1	The noise only increases when steering to the right or the left	See table S40
