Removing

- 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace

- 5530B10 battery - r+r

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

- 5530B52 Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.

Position a suitable container to collect the coolant.

1. Disconnect the lower radiator hose (1b), working on the fastening band (1a), and drain the system.

Removing

- 1048A10 air cleaner filtering element - replace

- 5530B10 battery - r+r

- 5530B56 BATTERY DRIP TRAY COVER - R.R.

- 5530B52 Battery DRIP TRAY/SUPPORT - R.R.

Position a suitable container to collect the coolant.

1. Disconnect the lower radiator side hose (1b), working on the fastening band (1a), and drain the system.

1. Open the fastening band (1a) and release the coolant hose (1b).

2. Undo retaining screws (2a) and remove thermostat assembly (2b)

Remove the underlying gasket.

1. Open the fastening band (1a) and release the coolant hose (1b).

2. Undo retaining screws (2a) and remove thermostat assembly (2b)

Remove the underlying gasket.

Refitting

Fit the thermostat unit in the cylinder head housing and refit the gasket underneath.

Tighten the bolts securing the thermostat assembly to torque.

Connect the coolant intake pipe and secure it with the appropriate retaining collar.

- 0010T20 coolant change

Refitting

Fit the thermostat unit in the housing on the cylinder head and refit the gasket underneath.

Tighten the bolts securing the thermostat assembly to torque.

Connect the coolant intake pipe and secure it with the appropriate retaining collar.
