Removal and Installation

General Equipment
Hose clamp remover/installer

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Drain the cooling system.
    Refer to: Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding (303-03F Engine Cooling - 1.8L Duratorq-TDCi (Lynx) Diesel, General Procedures).

  1. Torque: 18 Nm

  1. General Equipment: Hose clamp remover/installer
    Torque: 10 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The O-ring seal is to be reused unless damaged
    General Equipment: Hose clamp remover/installer

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
