Removal and Installation Special Tool(s) | Retractor, Piston, Rear Caliper 206-012 (12-006) | Removal | -
Disconnect the parking brake cable. - Pull back the parking brake lever.
- Disconnect the cable from the parking brake lever.
- Detach the conduit retaining clip.
- Detach the cable and conduit.

Disconnect the brake pad wear sensor electrical connector (if equipped). | | -
Detach the brake pad wear sensor electrical connector (if equipped). | | -
Pivot the caliper away from the caliper anchor plate. - Remove the clip.
- Remove the pin.
- Pivot the caliper upwards.
| Installation | -
CAUTION:If the pistons are retracted into the housing, brake fluid will be displaced from the master cylinder. Using the special tool, fully retract the caliper piston. - Fully retract the piston.
- Make sure the piston locating mark is in the correct position so that the locator pin on the brake pad backplate locates correctly into the piston.

Pivot the caliper into the caliper anchor bracket and secure. - Pivot the caliper downwards.
- Install the pin.
- Install the clip.

Attach the brake pad wear sensor electrical connector (if equipped). | | -
Connect the brake pad wear sensor electrical connector (if equipped). | | -
Install the parking brake cable. - Install the cable and conduit.
- Secure the cable retaining clip.
- Pull back the parking brake lever.
- Install the cable to the parking brake lever.
