CAUTION:Mark the orientation and position of the caps and the camshaft followers. They must be installed in the same position and orientation, or damage may occur.
Remove the timing chains. For additional information, refer to Timing Chains in this section.
NOTE:Remove the bolts in the indicated sequence.
Remove the right-hand camshafts.
Installation
CAUTION:Do not install right-hand cylinder head camshaft journal thrust caps until the camshaft journal caps are installed or damage to the thrust caps may occur.
Install the right-hand camshafts.
Install the caps in their original position.
Loosely install the bolts.
Install the timing chains. For additional information, refer to Timing Chains in this section.
