Removal and Installation Removal All Vehicles | -
Remove the two front right-hand splash shield parts (wheel removed for charity). | Vehicles with 2.0L engine | -
Remove the accessory drive belt. - Slacken the belt by turning the belt tensioner in a clockwise direction.

Remove the accessory drive belt. - Slacken the belt by turning the belt tensioner in a clockwise direction.
| Vehicles with 2.5L engine | -
Remove the front exhaust pipe. | | -
Remove the air conditioning (A/C) compressor heat shield. | All Vehicles | -
NOTE:Seal the tube and the connection with plugs. Detach the A/C compressor (FS10 compressor). | | -
Remove the A/C compressor (FS10 compressor). - Disconnect the electrical connector.

NOTE:Seal the tube and the connection with plugs. Detach the A/C lines. | | -
Remove the A/C compressor (FVS 090 compressor). - Disconnect the magnetique clutch - electrical connector.
- Remove four bolts.

NOTE:Install new O-rings and coat them with refrigerant oil. To Install, reverse the removal procedure. | Vehicles with 2.0L engine | -

- Belt idler pulley
- Water pump pulley
- Power steering pump pulley
- A/C compressor pulley
- Crankshaft pulley
- Belt tensioner

Evacuate and refill the A/C system. | | -
