Removal and Installation

Removal
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Left - hand drive shown, right - hand drive similar.
    Remove the steering column lower shroud.

  1. Remove the passive anti - theft system transceiver.
    1. Disconnect the transceiver electrical connector.

        2. 1. Depress the retaining tang.

    1. Remove the screw.
    1. Remove the transceiver.

  1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder.
    1. Insert and turn the key to accessory (position I).
    1. Depress the retainer.
    1. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
