Remove fuse 8 (15A) from fuse junction panel.

Using a voltmeter, measure for voltage at fuse 8 input cavity.
Is voltage B+?
YES
GO to EA8.
NO
RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
EA8 - Check Circuit 54 (LG/Y) For Open

Using an ohmmeter connected to ground, measure resistance of circuit 54 (LG/Y) between lighting control module connector pin C3-11 and
output cavity of fuse 8.
Is resistance 5 ohms or less?
YES
REPLACE fuse 8 (15A). RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
NO
SERVICE circuit 54 (LG/Y) for open. RETEST system. RESTORE vehicle.
EA9 - Check Logic Ground For Open

Using an ohmmeter connected to ground, measure resistance at lighting control module connector pin C3-9, circuit 676 (PK/O) Town Car or
circuit 57 (BK) Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis.
Is resistance less than 5 ohms?
YES
GO to Information Bus diagnostics to diagnose network concern. See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control
Systems/Information Bus
NO
SERVICE circuit 57 (BK) for open. RESTORE vehicle. RETEST system.
EB - Parking Lamps Inoperative
Pinpoint Test EB: Parking Lamps Inoperative
NOTE: Ford DOES NOT provide a procedure to perform the following pinpoint test without the Rotunda New Generation Star (NGS) tester
007-00500 or equivalent.
EB1 - Test Headlamps
-
Turn headlamps switch to PARK position.
Do parking lamps turn on?
YES
Parking lamps operating normally. CHECK for intermittent operation.
NO
CHECK fuse 15 (15A) Town Car or fuse 4 (15A) Crown Victoria, Grand Marquis. REPLACE fuse and RETEST. If fuse is good, GO to
EB2.
EB2 - Test Parking Lamps Output

Connect Rotunda New Generation STAR Tester 007-00500 or equivalent to data link connector.
-
Send command park lamps on.
Do parking lamps turn on?
YES
G0 to EB3.
NO
GO to EB5.
EB3 - Test Headlamp Switch
-
Request lighting control module headlamp switch position PID HDLMPSW.
Does PID indicate switch is in parking lamps position?
YES
REPLACE lighting control module. RETEST system.
NO
GO to EB4.
