Power Window Motor: Service and Repair
Front Door Window Motor
Removal
1. Remove front door trim panel and front door trim shield. See: Body and Frame/Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors
2. Place window glass in full up position and secure with tape.
3. Disconnect battery ground cable.
4. Disconnect window regulator electric drive wires at multiple connector.
5. Remove three 1/4 inch rivets retaining window regulator electric drive bracket to inner panel.
6. Working through access hole, remove window regulator electric drive bracket from inner panel and slide window regulator electric drive back to
access hole in door to gain access to three window regulator electric drive retaining screws.
