On the rear latch mechanism, cut off the safety hook flush with the edge using side cutters. (See Fig.4)
10.
Remove the two screws from the striker plate.
11.
Install metal bracket using screws as shown. (See Fig. 4) Torque to 12-15 in.lbs. (1.3-1.7 Nm).
12.
Reinstall Sunroof glass panel in vehicle.
