V20 VERIFY VEHICLE EQUIPMENT - GPSM

Verify whether the vehicle is equipped with a Global Positioning System Module (GPSM).

Is the vehicle equipped with a GPSM?
Yes
GO to V21.
No
GO to V22.

V21 CHECK FOR RESTORED NETWORK COMMUNICATION WITH THE GPSM DISABLED

Disconnect: SJB Fuse 11 (10A).

Enter the following diagnostic mode on the scan tool: Network Test.

Repeat the network test.
-
Do all other MS-CAN modules pass the network test?
Yes
INSTALL the removed fuse. GO to Pinpoint Test S. See: Pinpoint Test S: The Global Positioning System Module (GPSM) Does Not Respond To The
Scan Tool
No
INSTALL the removed fuse. GO to V22.

V22 VERIFY VEHICLE EQUIPMENT - ILCM

Verify whether the vehicle is equipped with an Interior Lighting Control Module (ILCM).

Is the vehicle equipped with an ILCM?
Yes
GO to V23.
No
An intermittent fault is not present. GO to Pinpoint Test W. See: Pinpoint Test W: No Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN)
Communication, All Modules Are Not Responding

V23 CHECK FOR RESTORED NETWORK COMMUNICATION WITH THE ILCM DISABLED

Disconnect: SJB Fuse 14 (10A).

Enter the following diagnostic mode on the scan tool: Network Test.

Repeat the network test.

Do all other MS-CAN modules pass the network test?
Yes
