About the F-450
The F-450 joined the F-Series with the Super Duty range for 1999, as a chassis cab for commercial bodies. From 2008 it was also sold as a pickup. It sits between the F-350 and F-550 and shares their cab, engines and much of their chassis.
What these manuals cover
- 1999–2007: the 5.4-litre V8, the 6.8-litre V10 (including a bi-fuel version), the 7.3 Power Stroke diesel and, from 2003, the 6.0 Power Stroke.
- 2008–2010: the 6.4-litre Power Stroke with twin sequential turbochargers.
