Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

  1. Remove the alternator adjusting bolt.
  1. Remove the drive belt. For additional information, refer to Section  303-05 Accessory Drive.
  1. Raise the vehicle.

  1. Disconnect the alternator wiring.

  1. Remove the alternator (two nuts and bolts).

Installation
  1. Refit the components in reverse order.
