Description and Operation

Vehicle built up to 01/1999

The anti-theft alarm/double locking module is located at the base of the A-pillar behind the floor covering. The module controls the anti-theft and double locking systems.

For Diagnosis and Testing of the anti-theft alarm system. For vehicles built up to 01/1999. For additional information, refer to Section  419-01A Anti-Theft - Active / 419-01B Anti-Theft - Passive.

Vehicles built 01/1999 onwards

The GEM is located at the base of the A-pillar behind the lower left hand side of the instrument panel. This module carries out the functions of the anti-theft alarm and double locking module and the central timer module (CTM).
