Disconnect the battery ground cable.

Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s). 2 - Ignition switch to starter motor solenoid cable electrical connector retaining nut 3 - Battery to starter motor solenoid cable electrical connector retaining nut 3. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Removal Details Item 1 : Starter motor solenoid cable retaining clip | | -
Detach the starter motor solenoid cable retaining clip from the bracket. | Item 4 : Starter motor solenoid cable electrical connector | | -
Detach the starter motor solenoid electrical connector and position it to one side. | Item 5 : Starter motor upper retaining bolts | | -
Remove the left-hand front wheel and tire.

| Item 6 : Starter motor lower retaining bolt | | -
Support the starter motor. | Installation Details Item 6 : Starter motor lower retaining bolt | | -
Loosely install the lower starter motor lower retaining bolt. | Item 5 : Starter motor upper retaining bolts | | -
Install the starter motor upper retaining bolts. - Tighten the starter motor upper retaining bolts.
- Install the left-hand front wheel and tire.
