Removal and Installation Removal | -
Remove the springs. For additional information, refer to Spring in this section. | | -
Detach the stabilizer bar from the rear lower arm on both sides. | | -
WARNING:Both sides of the suspension must be set to the design height setting. Failure to follow this instruction may result in personal injury. | | -
Remove the stabilizer bar clamps (left-hand side shown). - Remove the retaining bolts.
- Remove the clamp.

Remove the stabilizer bar. | | -
Remove the stabilizer bar bushings. | Installation | -
CAUTION:The stabilizer bar bushings must be located correctly on the stabilizer bar, with no lubricant. NOTE:Make sure the bushing nipple is on the left-hand side. Install the bushing onto the stabilizer bar on both sides. | | -
Install the stabilizer bar clamps. - Apply water to the clamps to assist installation.
- Press the clamp onto the bushing on both sides.

Install the stabilizer bar. | | -
Lower the suspension from the design height setting. | | -
Attach the stabilizer bar to the rear lower arm on both sides. | | -
