Removal and Installation

Special Tool(s)

Remover, Pulley, Power Steering Pump

211 - 198 (13 - 021)

Installer, Pulley, Camshaft

303 - 458 (21 - 192)

Removal

  1. Remove the power steering pump.
    For additional information, refer to Pump - Power Steering in this section.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:1.4L with air conditioning shown, others similar.
    Using the special tool, remove the power steering pump pulley.

Installation
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure the pulley is flush with the end of the power steering pump shaft.
    Using the special tool, install the power steering pump pulley.
  1. Install the power steering pump.
