Removal and Installation

Removal

All vehicles
  1. Detach the upper clip on the air cleaner outlet tube.
All except diesel engine
  1. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.
Vehicles with diesel engine
  1. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector.
All vehicles
  1. Disconnect the breather pipe.

  1. Remove the air cleaner.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Make sure the three locating pegs on the air cleaner housing are located into the rubber grommets on the support bracket. Make sure the air cleaner housing is installed onto air cleaner intake tube.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
