Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the generator.
    For additional information, refer to: Generator - 1.6L Zetec-E (Zetec)/1.8L/2.0L/2.0L Duratec-RS (Zetec) (414-02 Generator and Regulator, Removal and Installation).

  1. Disconnect the cylinder head temperature (CHT) sensor electrical connector.

  1. Remove the CHT sensor.

Installation

NOTE:
NOTE:Make sure that a new component is installed.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
