Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the spark plug wires. For additional information, refer to Section  303-07A Engine Ignition / 303-07B Engine Ignition.

  1. Disconnect the cylinder head temperature (CHT) sensor electrical connector.

  1. Remove and discard the CHT sensor.

Installation
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:A new CHT must be fitted every time it is removed as the mating face is distorted when installed.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
