Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Section  100-02 Jacking and Lifting.

  1. Disconnect the headlamp levelling sensor electrical connector (rear sensor shown).
    • Detach the wiring harness from the bracket.

  1. Detach the connecting rod from the bracket (rear sensor shown).

  1. Remove the headlamp levelling sensor with bracket (rear sensor shown).

  1. Remove the headlamp levelling sensor with bracket (front sensor shown).

  1. Detach the connecting rod from the headlamp levelling sensor.

  1. Remove the headlamp levelling sensor.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Use WDS to initialize the headlamp levelling system after installing the headlamp levelling sensor.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
