Removal and Installation
Removal
Remove the headlamp. For additional information, refer to Headlamps (one side) in this section.
WARNING:High voltages are present in the system. Ensure that the headlamp connector is disconnected before removing the rear headlamp cover. Failure to observe this instruction can lead to injuries.
Remove the rear headlamp cover.
NOTE:Turn the headlamp levelling motor anticlockwise when removing from the right headlamp and clockwise when removing from the left headlamp.
Turn the headlamp levelling motor as far as the stop (right side shown).
Detach the headlamp levelling motor from the bracket.
Turn the main beam bulb anticlockwise.
Pull out the main beam bulb.
Remove the main beam bulb.
Installation
NOTE:Ensure that the headlamp levelling motor ball joint has engaged correctly.
