Make sure that the headlamp assembly electrical connector is disconnected if the headlamp rear cover is removed. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury. | | -
Remove the headlamp rear cover. | Vehicles built up to 03/2002 | | -
CAUTION:Make sure that the headlamps are not switched on with the headlamp bulb electrical connector disconnected. CAUTION:Make sure that the headlamp bulb retaining ring does not turn during the headlamp bulb ignitor removal. NOTE:The headlamp bulb ignitor electrical connector will be disconnected automatically during the headlamp bulb ignitor removal. Remove the headlamp bulb ignitor. | | | -
Remove the headlamp bulb retaining ring. | Vehicles built 04/2002 onwards | | -
CAUTION:Make sure that the headlamps are not switched on with the headlamp bulb electrical connector disconnected. NOTE:The headlamp bulb ignitor electrical connector will be disconnected automatically during the headlamp bulb ignitor removal. Remove the headlamp bulb ignitor. | | | -
Detach the headlamp bulb U-clip from the fixings. | All vehicles | | -
WARNING:Wear safety glasses and protective gloves when removing and installing Xenon headlamp bulbs. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury. CAUTION:Do not touch the glass surface of the headlamp bulb. Remove the headlamp bulb. | Installation All vehicles | | -
