Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.

  1. Remove the insert from the front of the floor console.

  1. Remove the floor console front retaining screws.

  1. Detach the automatic transaxle selector lever trim panel from the floor console.
    • Detach the retaining clips.

  1. Remove the automatic transaxle selector lever trim panel.
    • Disconnect the traction control electrical connector.
    • Disconnect the heated seats electrical connectors (if equipped).

  1. Remove the insert from the rear of the floor console.

  1. Remove the floor console rear retaining nut.

  1. Fully raise the parking brake lever and detach the boot.

  1. Disconnect the auxiliary power electrical connector.

  1. Remove the floor console.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
