Roof Opening Panel Shield Removal and Installation

Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the roof opening panel glass.
    For additional information, refer to Roof Opening Panel Glass - in this section.
  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Do not allow the glass panel guides to disengage the guide rails.
    Wind the roof opening panel mechanism to the rear.

  1. Remove the cover panel.
    • Remove the 16 screws.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Cover the cables to prevent the ingress of dirt.
    CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Do not move the cables or mechanism.
    Remove the roof opening panel shield.
    • Slide the roof opening panel shield out of the guide rails.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
