Drain the cooling system.

Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration(s) and table(s). 2 - Ignition coil pack electrical connector 8 - Engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor electrical connector 9 - Coolant outlet connector 10 - Coolant outlet connector gasket 11 - Engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor 3. Detach the coolant expansion tank to coolant outlet connector coolant hose retaining clip from the coolant hose. | Item 5 : Coolant expansion tank to coolant outlet connector coolant hose | | -
Using a suitable tool, disconnect the coolant expansion tank to coolant outlet connector coolant hose. | Item 6 : Coolant outlet connector to heater core coolant hose | | -
Using the special tool, disconnect the coolant outlet connector to heater core coolant hose. | Item 7 : Radiator lower to coolant outlet connector coolant hose | | -
Using the special tool, disconnect the coolant outlet connector to radiator coolant hose. | |
