Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE:
NOTE:Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. Remove the rear quarter window glass.
    Refer to: Rear Quarter Window Glass - Convertible (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, Removal and Installation).

  1. Torque: 7 Nm

  1. Torque: 7 Nm

    1. Loosen the nut two turns.
      Torque: 6 Nm
    1. Loosen the nuts two turns.
      Torque: 12 Nm
    1. Torque: 6 Nm

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Initialize the door window motors.
    Refer to: Door Window Motor Initialization (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, General Procedures).
