Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Drain the charge air cooler cooling system.
    For additional information, refer to Charge Air Cooler Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding in this section.

  1. Disconnect the charge air cooler radiator coolant hose from the charge air cooler radiator.

  1. Disconnect the charge air cooler radiator coolant hose from the charge air cooler radiator coolant pipe.

  1. Remove the charge air cooler radiator coolant pipe from the charge air cooler radiator.

  1. Remove the charge air cooler radiator retaining nuts.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Support the charge air cooler radiator.
    Remove the charge air cooler radiator.

Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
