Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the headlamp assembly.
    For additional information, refer to Headlamps (one side) in this section.

  1. Remove the headlamp rear cover.

  1. Disconnect the connector from the headlamp leveling motor.

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The headlamp leveling motor must be turned counter-clockwise when removing from the right-hand headlamp and clockwise when removing from the left-hand headlamp.
    Turn the headlamp leveling motor to the stop (right-hand side shown).

  1. Remove the headlamp leveling motor.

Installation

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Ensure that the spherical end of the headlamp leveling motor is pushed into the guide.
    Install the components in the reverse order.
