Disconnect the battery ground cables. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.

Disconnect the hood latch release cable from the hood latch.

Detach the battery junction box (BJB) from the radiator grille opening panel reinforcement.

Remove the battery front side cover.

Disconnect the cooling fan electrical connectors and detach them from the cooling fan motor and shroud.

Detach the air conditioning line from the cooling fan shroud.

Remove the right-hand cooling fan motor.

Remove the left-hand cooling fan motor.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
