Disconnect the transaxle electrical connections. - Disconnect the sensor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the solenoid valves electrical connector.
- Detach the wiring harness from the main control valve body.

CAUTION:Only remove the indicated bolts. CAUTION:Make sure the manual valve remains in place while removing the main control valve body. Remove the main control valve body. | | -
Remove the transaxle case O-rings. | Installation | -
NOTE:Install new O-rings. Install the transaxle case O-ring seals. | | -
Move the manual valve detent lever into position "1". | | -
Move the manual valve to the indicated position as shown. | | -
NOTE:Make sure that the O-ring seals are correctly positioned. NOTE:Make sure that the manual valve is located in the manual valve lever groove. Position the main control valve body and loosely install two retaining bolts. | | -
Check the function and the position of the manual valve. - Rotate the manual valve detent lever through all positions.
- Move the manual valve detent lever into position "2" and check the indicated position in the main control valve body.

Install the remaining main control valve body retaining bolts. | | -
Connect the transaxle electrical connections. - Connect the sensor electrical connector.
- Connect the solenoid valves electrical connector.
- Attach the wiring harness to the main control valve body.
