Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Section  414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables.

  1. Detach the left-hand door opening weatherstrip.

  1. Detach the cowl side trim panel.

  1. Disconnect the PCM electrical connector.

  1. Remove the PCM.

Installation

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:When installing the PCM electrical connector start the bolt by hand before tightening to avoid damaging the electrical connector pins.
    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
