CAUTION:Use care to avoid damaging the crankshaft sealing surface. Use the special tool to remove the crankshaft rear oil seal. | | -
Inspect the crankshaft rear oil seal area. | Installation All vehicles | -
NOTE:Coat the rear oil seal area and the crankshaft rear oil seal lip with Super Premium SAE 5W-20 Motor Oil or equivalent meeting Ford specifications WSS-MZC153-H. NOTE:Make sure the crankshaft rear oil seal is on correctly and that the edges are not rolled over. Using the special tools install the crankshaft rear oil seal. | Manual transaxle vehicles | -
