Removal and Installation

General Equipment
Vise
Vise jaw protectors

Removal

  1. Remove the stabilizer bar.
    For additional information, refer to Stabilizer Bar in this section.

  1. Remove the stabilizer bar bushings.
    1. Remove the clamps.
    1. Remove the bushings.

Installation
  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:The stabilizer bar bushings must be located correctly on the flats of the stabilizer bar.
    Install the stabilizer bar bushings.

  1. Using a suitable vise fitted with vise jaw protectors, install the stabilizer bar clamps.
    1. Support the stabilizer bar bushing with a metal bar of 10 mm depth, 30 mm wide and 100 mm long.
    1. Install the clamps.
  1. Install the stabilizer bar.
