In-vehicle Repair Removal | -
Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures). | | -
Disconnect the solenoid body electrical connector. | | -
Disconnect the transmission range (TR) sensor electrical connector. | | -
Raise and support the vehicle. For additional information, refer to: Jacking (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation) / Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation). | | -
CAUTION:Using and open-end wrench, prevent the fluid pipe adapter from turning, do not remove the adapter from the transaxle housing. Disconnect the transaxle cooler inlet pipe. - Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.

NOTE:Remove the bolts in the sequence shown. Remove the fluid pan. - Disconnect the fluid pan vent tube.

Remove the fluid pan cover gasket. | Installation | -
Position the fluid pan cover gasket on the transaxle case. | | -
NOTE:Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown. Install the fluid pan. - Connect the fluid pan vent tube.

Connect the transaxle cooler inlet line. | | -
Connect the TR sensor electrical connector. | | -
Connect the solenoid body electrical connector. | | -
Install the battery tray. | | -
