Remover/Installer, Cooling Hose Clamp

303 - 397 (24 - 003)

1. Drain the cooling system.
   For additional information, refer to: Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding - 2.0L Duratorq-Di/TDDi (Puma) Diesel/2.0L Duratorq-TDCi (Puma) Diesel/2.2L Duratorq-TDCi (Puma) Diesel (303-03 Engine Cooling, General Procedures).
   

2. Raise and support the vehicle.
   For additional information, refer to: Lifting (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).
   

3. Remove the engine undershield.

4. Remove the booster heater exhaust pipe.

5. Disconnect the booster heater electrical connector.

6. Using the special tool, disconnect the coolant hoses.

7. 

   CAUTION:Cap the fuel lines to prevent dirt ingress.
   Detach the fuel line.

8. Remove the booster heater with bracket.

9. Remove the air intake hose.
   • Release the cable tie

10. Remove the booster heater.
    1. Disconnect the fuel line from the booster heater.
    2. Remove the booster heater retaining bolts.
    • Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
