Disassembly and Assembly

Disassembly

Wagon
  1. Detach the cushion cover from the underside of the seat.
    1. Release the hook loop tape.
    1. Feed the cushion heater mat wiring harness through the cushion cover on both sides.
4-door and wagon
  1. Detach the cushion cover from the underside of the seat.
    • Cut the hog rings.
5-door
  1. Detach the cushion cover from the underside of the seat.
    1. Detach the retaining strips.
    1. Feed the cushion heater mat wiring harnesses through the seat base.
All vehicles
  1. Remove the cushion cover.
    1. Roll the cushion cover inwards to access the hog rings.
    1. Cut the hog rings.

  1. Detach the cushion heater mats from the cushion pad.

  1. Remove the cushion heater mat and wiring harness on both sides.
    1. Detach the cushion heater mat wiring harness retaining clip from the seat frame.
    1. Feed the cushion heater mat wiring harness through the cushion pad.

Assembly
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Use hog ring pliers to close the hog rings. Do not use any other tool. The hog rings must be closed to overlap as illustrated.
    To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
