CAUTION:
CAUTION:Make sure that the two guide sleeves are installed.
  1. Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions (100-00 General Information, Description and Operation).
  1. Apply a thin coating of grease to the input shaft splines.
    Material: High-Temperature Grease

  1. General Equipment: Transmission jack

  1. Perform this and the following operation simultaneously.
    Special Tool(s): 303-290B-15
    Torque: 48 Nm

  1. Torque: 48 Nm

  1. Remove the transmission jack.

  1. Torque: 48 Nm

  1. Special Tool(s): 303-290B-15
    Torque: 48 Nm

  1. Torque: 80 Nm

  1. Do not tighten the new bolt of the rear engine mounting yet.

  1. Refer to: Kupplungssystem entlüften (308-00 Schaltgetriebe und Kupplung - Allgemeine Informationen, General Procedures).

  1. Remove the special tool.
    Special Tool(s): 303-290B-15
    Torque: 48 Nm

  1. Remove the special tool.

  1. Torque: 40 Nm

  1. Torque: 20 Nm

  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:The flexible exhaust pipe must not be twisted.
    Material: Grease
    Torque: 48 Nm
  1. Install the following items:
    1. Driveshafts
      Refer to: Linke Antriebswelle (205-04 Vorderradantriebswellen, Removal and Installation).
      Refer to: Rechte Antriebswelle (205-04 Vorderradantriebswellen, Removal and Installation).
    1. Subframe
      Refer to: Front Subframe (502-00 Uni-Body, Subframe and Mounting System, Removal and Installation).

  1. Torque: 48 Nm

  1.  
    1. Torque: 25 Nm
    1. Torque: 48 Nm
    1. Torque: 148 Nm

  1. Torque: 25 Nm

  1. Adjust the selector cable.
    Refer to: Schaltseilzug einstellen - Fahrzeuge ausgestattet mit 5-Gang Schaltgetriebe (MTX-75) (308-00 Schaltgetriebe und Kupplung - Allgemeine Informationen, General Procedures).
  1. Install the following items:
    1. Battery carrier
      Refer to: Batterie (414-01 Batterie, Befestigung und Batteriekabel, Removal and Installation).
    1. Air filter
      Refer to: Luftfilter (303-12A Ansaugsystem - 2.0L Duratec-HE (MI4), Removal and Installation).
  1. Check the level of the transmission fluid.
    Refer to: Getriebeöl ablassen und einfüllen (Getriebe) (308-03A Schaltgetriebe - Fahrzeuge ausgestattet mit 5-Gang Schaltgetriebe (MTX-75), General Procedures).

  1. Initialize the window regulator motors.
    Refer to: Door Window Motor Initialization (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, General Procedures).
