Air Cleaner Assembly (V6 24V Variants) - Remove and Install (23 174 0)

Removal and Installation

Remove

1. Disconnect the battery earth lead.

CAUTION:

Do not pull on the wiring; pull on the multiplug body.

2. Disconnect the MAF sensor multiplug.

3. Slacken the clip and disconnect the intake hose.

4. Open the clip and disconnect the breather hose.

5. Unscrew the intake pipe retaining screw.

6. Unclip the air cleaner assembly retaining bands.

7. Remove the air cleaner/MAF sensor assembly.

8. Unscrew the MAF sensor retaining nuts.

9. Remove the MAF sensor from the air cleaner assembly.

Install

10. Refit the components in reverse order.

Always use a new MAF sensor sealing ring; do not attempt to use the old one.
