MT 75 Transmission, 3‐part driveshaft

Remove

NOTE:

Make sure that the driveshaft is not bent excessively during removal and installation to avoid damaging the joints.

1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Detach the driveshaft from the rear axle.
1. Mark the position of the driveshaft flange in relation to the drive flange.
2. Four bolts.

3. Detach the driveshaft from the transmission.
1. Mark the position of the driveshaft flange in relation to the output flange.
2. Four bolts.

4. Take off both centre bearings and with the help of another technician, remove the driveshaft.
   Two bolts on each.
Install

NOTE:

Marks.

5. Attach the driveshaft to the transmission.
• Locate the driveshaft in position (two technicians).
• Loosely attach the driveshaft to the transmission.

6. Loosely fit the two centre bearings.
   Two bolts each.

7. Attach the driveshaft loosely to the rear axle.
1. Marks.
2. Four bolts.
8. Align the driveshaft with the two centre bearings.

9. Tighten the bolts on the transmission output flange.

10. Tighten the bolts of the two centre bearings.

11. Tighten the bolts on the rear axle drive flange.
12. Lower the vehicle.
