Installer, Input Shaft Oil Seal

1. Remove the clutch slave cylinder.
   For additional information, refer to: Kupplungsnehmerzylinder (308-02C Kupplungsbetätigung - Fahrzeuge ausgestattet mit MT82, Removal and Installation).
   

2. Punch the input shaft seal at a single point with the special tool.

3. Remove the input shaft seal.
   • Screw a self-tapping screw into the input shaft seal.
   • Pull out the screw and the input shaft seal with pliers.
   • Discard the input shaft seal.

   NOTE:Install a new input shaft seal.
   Using the special tool, install the input shaft seal.

2. Install the clutch slave cylinder.

3. Check the level of the transmission fluid.
   For additional information, refer to: Getriebeöl ablassen und einfüllen (Getriebe) (308-03A, General Procedures).
