Radiator Cooling Fan: Service and Repair
Radiator Fan - Removal

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Detach coolant line from lower radiator shroud.

NOTE: The radiator fan assembly is attached (threaded) to the fan pulley. Remove the fan blade/viscous fan drive assembly from the 
water pump by turning the mounting nut clockwise as viewed from the front. Threads on the radiator fan drive are REVERSE
THREADED (LEFT-HAND THREAD).

3. Using Counterholder 8930 to hold pulley, remove radiator fan.
4. Remove upper air seal.
5. Remove upper radiator hose.
6. Remove radiator fan shroud and radiator fan.

NOTE: Store the viscous fan clutch in the upright position. DO NOT place down flat.
