About the S15/T15 Sonoma P/U 2WD
The two-wheel-drive Sonoma pickup. The S-15 was GMC's version of the Chevrolet S-10 compact pickup from the 1982 model year, later renamed the Sonoma; S means two-wheel drive and T four-wheel drive. The S-15 Jimmy SUV, built on the pickup, arrived for 1983, and four-door Jimmys were added in 1991. The Colorado and Canyon replaced the S-series in 2004.
