Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the grille assembly. Refer to Grille Replacement (Base) (See: Body and Frame/Grille/Service and Repair)Grille Replacement (Uplevel)
(See: Body and Frame/Grille/Service and Repair).
2. Disconnect the lines from the auxiliary cooler.
3. Remove the lines from the push clips on the auxiliary cooler mounting bracket.
4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
5. Remove the lower bolts from the auxiliary cooler mounting bracket.
6. Lower the vehicle.
7. Remove the upper bolts.
8. Remove the auxiliary oil cooler from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the oil cooler into the vehicle.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install the upper bolts into the oil cooler bracket and tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
3. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
