Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (See: Service and Repair/Draining and Filling Cooling
System)Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac-N-Fill) (See: Service and Repair/Draining and Filling Cooling System) .
2. Remove the engine sight shield. Refer to Positive Crankcase Ventilation Hose/Pipe/Tube Replacement (See: Powertrain Management/Emission
Control Systems/Positive Crankcase Ventilation/PCV Valve Hose/Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the air cleaner resonator outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement (See: Engine/Tune-up and Engine
Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Air Cleaner Fresh Air Duct/Hose/Service and Repair) .
4. Reposition the coolant air bleed hose clamp at the throttle body.
5. Remove the coolant air bleed hose from the throttle body.
6. Reposition the hose clamp at the pipe.
7. Remove the coolant air bleed hose (1) from the pipe (2).
8. Remove the coolant air bleed hose from the vehicle.
