Secondary Throttle Valve Full Opening Angle

1.

Check full opening angle of secondary throttle valve.

2.

Open throttle lever, then completely open secondary throttle valve and check angle of secondary throttle valve. Valve angle should be 87° (from
horizontal plane).

3.

Adjust angle by bending secondary shaft lever, Fig. 78.

4.

Check the secondary throttle valve with the primary throttle valve fully opened. Check angle of secondary throttle valve with primary throttle valve
fully opened. Valve angle should be 23° (from horizontal plane).

5.

Adjust angle by bending secondary throttle shaft lever.

6.

Check secondary touch angle. Measure primary throttle valve opening at the same time the secondary throttle valve starts to open. Clearance
should be 0.23 inch. Adjust clearance by bending throttle adjusting arm.
